Himalayan Disasters

- Roots of Risk in the Himalayas

Date: 13th October, Monday
Time: 6 PM – 8 PM

On the occasion of “International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction”, the WFD Foundation (www.wfdfoundation.org) is launching a three-part webinar series to connect science, policy, and community experience. Our aim is not only to understand why disasters are increasing, but also to highlight lived realities and outline concrete steps toward resilience and policy change.

Core Verticals

Our work is built on a foundation of purpose and impact. Each initiative we undertake is guided by a commitment to learning, collaboration, and resilience - shaping solutions that empower people, influence policy, and strengthen communities. These efforts come together across our four core verticals.
